Through the use of Pooled Funding work together to develop training materials
The Mid-Atlantic Region Technician Certification Program is comprised of the State DOT's of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia and Federal Highway Administration. This organization is dedicated to raising the knowledge level of technicians performing hands-on testing of products and services we provide to the transportation industry.
To raise this knowledge level the States in MARTCP have agreed to develop core training programs in hot mix asphalt, concrete, soils and aggregates, and pavement markings. Additional programs may be added in the future.
